Our
beloved Alfonso Carrara died in the early morning hours of September
13. Husband to Ivonne Berti, then to Gillion, he lived 90 years.
Architect, poet, artist, photographer, he enjoyed '90x90' this
past March, surrounded by friends at a festive opening of a
retrospective of his drawings to celebrate what would be his last
birthday. He was hospitalized on Saturday, September 8, with pneumonia.
A service at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Chicago in the coming weeks is being planned, and details will be forthcoming.

A Siena, e non solo, lascia molti amici.
N.B. Le parti battute a macchina sono scritte originali di Alfonso Carrara. Se ne apprezza, infatti, l'inventiva di Toscano nato a Chicago.
